Why is it
that all that lives must die?
I helplessly revisit
the darkest shadows in my mind
just to watch each day die sadly
when cold winds start to blow
and fallen leaves surround me
until their buried under snow

It's fitting
to hide enslaved by pain
While your bad heart beats, barely living
I serenade the mistakes you've made
And then I count a billion blessings
falling from the sky
and silently they spite me
because I know none of them are mine
and my demons always find me
when I'm wondering through my mind
I fear the ones I love around me
because it's so easy to leave or die
